Popstar to Operastar judge Meat Loaf has said that he thinks modern bands are predictable. The `Bat Out Of Hell' singer feels that groups do the same thing every time they take to the stage.
He told Contactmusic: "I don't like much music because most people are standing on the outside watching themselves.
"Most bands walk in the same footprints every night."
He explained: "I've had famous bands open for me and at the same bar every night they go over to the drums, play the tambourine, go stand on the monitor, pose this way, pose that way.
"You can ask my band - every night they have no f******g clue what I'm about to do and neither do I."
Meat Loaf recently suggested that X Factor boss Simon Cowell was not qualified to judge acts on reality talent contests.
He told the Daily Record: "I wanna talk to him really bad and say, 'You have really good instincts but you've never walked a stage in your life'.
"Before you start telling somebody what to do, you have to understand the principles of stage.
"Simon has been really lucky to be in the right place at the right time."
