Kevin Webster is "shocked" by how strongly he feels about Molly Dobbs' unborn baby in 'Coronation Street'.
The garage owner - played by Michael Le Vell - is left distraught after his business partner Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) shows him a scan of his wife's unborn baby just weeks after Kevin and Molly (Vicky Binns)' affair ended.
Michael said: "When Tyrone shows him the moving images of the baby on a screen, Kevin is shocked by how strongly he reacts. It's like the reality of the whole situation finally hits him - this isn't just about him brushing his secret affair with molly under the carpet any more. There's another human being involved now, and Kevin can't just ignore that."
Tensions between the business partners and former friends worsen further when Kevin turns down Tyrone's offer to make him the unborn child's godfather.
He said: "Tyrone obviously has no idea why Kevin reacts the way he does - as far as he's concerned, his pal is just being plain rude. Since Kevin isn't able to tell Tyrone what's really going on, they can't straighten things out. Eventually, Kevin thinks there's nothing else for it - and tells Tyrone that they should dissolve their business partnership."
