Katie Price rushed to the aid of her friend Melodie Pope after she was thrown from a horse, according to reports. The pair were out enjoying a ride close to Katie's Surrey home when Pope fell from the horse.
Melodie was left "writhing in agony" after the fall, according to the Daily Mirror.
Price jumped from her horse and put her friend in the recovery position, before she called an ambulance.
Pope was transported to the East Surrey Hospital to be checked out by doctors.
A source told the newspaper: "Katie was shocked when she turned around to see her mate hurled on the ground in a heap. It was a very nasty fall.
"But she didn't panic, not even seeing how much pain her friend was in.
"She just calmly called the emergency services and arranged for paramedics to come and help Melodie."
They added: "Katie has ridden horses all her life and has seen her fair share of riding accidents. Nothing fazes her."
Reports suggest that Pope was taken by air ambulance and Katie stayed by her pal's side for the afternoon.
It is thought that Melodie has sustained damage to her lower back but is in a stable condition.
