X Factor judge Cheryl Cole is planning to file for divorce from footballer husband Ashley later this week, a report has claimed. The 26-year-old announced that she and the Chelsea defender had separated last month amid allegations that he had been unfaithful.
Sources told a tabloid newspaper that Cheryl wants to "move on" and claimed that she will soon start divorce proceedings.
An insider told the Daily Mirror that Cheryl has said that she does not want any money from Ashley.
The source claimed: "Cheryl has turned a corner and is now ready to move on.
"But she doesn't want a messy divorce - it must be as quick and as amicable as possible.
"She's not looking to profit and was never with him for his money. She doesn't want a penny from him."
The source revealed that Cheryl has finally taken the decision to end the marriage after weeks of uncertainty.
They added: "She's spent weeks now yo-yoing, not knowing whether to take Ashley back.
"But she is ready to get on with her life and realises divorce is the only way forward."
