Emmerdale star Dominic Brunt has praised his young co-star Danny Miller. The actor who plays Paddy Kirk said that the 19-year-old had "award-winning potential".
He described Miller's portrayal of teen Aaron Livesly is "brilliant" and that his co-star "has not idea" of his talent.
He told the Metro: "He could potentially win anything.
"You almost want to ring everyone up and say don't give him any awards because he doesn't know how good he is and let's keep him like that."
He added: "He's really got his head screwed on. He's been here almost two years.
"He's a young lad but he still turns up with all his scripts in order, all his files, all his notes written down. He always knows his lines. He's not jaded whatsoever. That's the healthiest way to be."
Recently Miller revealed that he was enjoying the challenges set by his character coming to terms with his sexuality.
The situation will come to a head when he finally reveals that he is gay to his guardian Paddy.
Miller told PA: "It's definitely been a challenge - I feel a big responsibility to get this right and portray it in a way that makes it real, because there are so many lads that are going through what Aaron is going through."
He added that he found the scenes where he lashes out at Paddy "very emotional".
He said: "There was a lot of crying. Dominic is such a brilliant actor, so that really helped."
