X Factor judge Louis Walsh has said that he believes that Olly Murs will go on to have a a better career in the music industry than Joe McElderry, according to a report.
The Irish mogul has suggested that the 2009 X Factor runner-up could ultimately be successful than Joe.
Murs recently announced that he has signed a joint record deal between Simon Cowell's label Syco and Epic Records.
Louis told Irish TV show Xposé that both singers would have to work hard to build a career in the music industry.
He explained: "It does take about nine months to a year to make a really good album if you want to get the best producers. I know [Joe's] got a really good producer in America called John Shanks.
"I think Joe will do okay. I think Olly's the one to watch. I think he's the dark horse."
Olly and McElderry are currently both working on material for their debut albums.
Epic's managing director Nick Raphael has said of Murs: "Olly is a big personality and we hope to make a big record on which we can showcase his obvious talents."
