Anything can happen on props week as the unpredictable items are thrown into the lives of our celebrity skaters.

Frunt runner Hayley maintained her consistency record this week providing a polished routine to Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head however, it was not enough this week as Danniella Westbrook’s sexy secretary routine moved  the actress off of her top of the table spot.

It was always going to be a difficult task for Hayley and UK Gold Medalist partner Daniel Whiston to top their movie week Bollywood performance in which they received a perfect 30 out of 30 and a standing ovation from the judges.

The former Emmerdale star was given a romantic, soft routine this week which featured a  spinning lay out, an upside down sash, a standing counterbalance and of course all the flicks and tricks with the umbrella (which managed to stay firmly in the hands of both skaters).

Scoring a lower score from last week, 26.5, the Ice Panel explained the slight drop in marks, with Karen firstly saying: “It was difficult to follow your amazing routine last week. But this was total contrast- it was gentle and romantic. As always, a pleasure to watch. Well done.”

Emma started by complimenting Hayley on how hard the use of props is, and complimented her on a “seamless and beautiful” routine.

But the Spice Girl admitted that there was a little bit of girl power sparkle missing for her tonight: “It didn’t give me any feeling. It wasn’t spectacular. I didn’t get that energy from you that I usually get.”

Robin added: “The quality of the skating was fantastic…It was a little bit nice for me. I’d have loved a bit more tension. But you skated it as you were asked to perform it and it was lovely.”

Although her performance wasn’t quite on the money for the judges, the actress still had the backing of the public on the night, earning her a place in the semi-finals and escaping the skate-off once again.
