Comedy star Rufus Hound has claimed that Cheryl Cole "loved" his spoof song and dance performance on Let's Dance For Sport Relief, says a report.
The Argumental star said that he was surprised to discover that The X Factor judge had enjoyed watching his performance of her hit song 'Fight For This Love'.
He told the Daily Mirror: "I was told through the grapevine that she'd seen it and really liked it but like all the things you hear on the grapevine, you have no idea whether it's true.
"But today one of my dancers, who is also one of Cheryl's backing dancers, told me he spoke to her and he went, 'She loves it, she thinks it's the funniest thing'."
Rufus said that he hoped that Cheryl, who is currently bedridden with bronchitis, would get a lift from watching his performance in the final.
He added: "I did think if she is a bit down in the dumps it might help to cheer her up.
"At no point did I do it to help Cheryl but the idea that during a rough time she got a giggle out of it, well, that's really nice."
