Terri Seymour has reportedly given her blessing to her ex Simon Cowell's forthcoming nuptials. The music mogul has confirmed that he is engaged to American Idol make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy.
Seymour split from Cowell in 2008 after six years together.
The 36-year-old TV presenter has said that she even hopes to be invited to the wedding.
She told the Daily Mirror: "I'm so happy for him - I'm delighted for them both.
It's great to see Simon so happy.
"There's absolutely no awkwardness between me and him."
She added: "He's like my best mate. I have to interview him all the time for Extra, covering American Idol."
American Idol stylist Miles Siggins, who knows both tCowell and Hussainy, has revealed that the wedding will take place in the autumn.
He told Fancast: "He seems really happy with her.
"I have to be honest, though. I was kind of surprised. I knew they were dating, but I was surprised that they got engaged [so quickly].
"But she's great. I guess he just made his mind up. And they are really happy together."
