Mary J Blige has come forward to say that she "would love" to perform at Simon Cowell's wedding party later this year, a report has claimed.
The US star was invited by the entertainment mogul to be a guest judge on American Idol when the `Pants On The Ground' song was performed by General Larry Platt.
Mary told Capital FM that she would been happy to sing at the party when Cowell weds Mezghan Hussainy.
She said: "I love Simon by the way, so we'll talk."
Insiders believe that Cowell is planning his wedding for September.
American Idol stylist, Miles Siggins, who is reportedly a good friend of Hussainy, has told Fancast he was informed that the ceremony will be held in the autumn.
Siggins added: "He seems really happy with her.
"I have to be honest, though. I was kind of surprised. I knew they were dating, but I was surprised that they got engaged [so quickly].
"But she's great. I guess he just made his mind up. And they are really happy together."
