'This Morning' is to be broadcast seven days a week.
The popular mid-week daytime show is set to be trialled in two new weekend slots over the coming weeks, with bosses reportedly keen to sign up Peter Andre and Myleene Klass - who previously fronted Saturday morning music show 'CD:UK' for the channel - as guest hosts for the new programmes.
Current presenters Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby will stay as week day hosts.
The hour-long Saturday show will reportedly feature showbiz interviews, cookery slots and current affairs discussions, while the Sunday edition will be more "laid back", featuring longer chats with celebrities and discussions on topics including fashion and the home.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "The BBC has 'Saturday Kitchen' and Channel 4 has 'T4' so we feel we could eat into their market share."
The trial shows are set to begin from March 20 for seven weeks and bosses will then make a decision as to whether to keep one of both new shows.
