Cheryl Cole has cancelled a string of TV and radio gigs after falling ill, according to a report. The 26-year-old has been stricken with bronchitis and has had to scrap her scheduled performance on the Jonathan Ross show.
Sources close to the Girls Aloud singer have voiced their concerns that Cheryl is suffering under the strain of her recent separation from husband Ashley.
Pals told a tabloid newspaper that Cheryl is feeling "very, very low", sparking fears for her health.
Cheryl has also cancelled a planned Radio 1 session with Fearne Cotton after doctors ordered her to rest.
An insider told the Daily Star: "Cheryl has been a trouper up until now but the pressure has finally got to her.
"She is very sick and feeling very, very low. The bronchitis has knocked her clean off her feet."
Cheryl's official spokesman has confirmed that she has had to postpone all current performing engagements.
He said: "Cheryl has had to postpone all promotion until she is better."
