Dancing on Ice judge Nicky Slater has admitted that he was "blown away" by Hayley Tamaddon's performance last week. The former Emmerdale star skated a Bollywood themed dance to `Jai Ho' from Slumdog Millionaire.
Hayley and her professional partner Daniel Whiston managed to score a perfect 30 out of 30.
Speaking on This Morning, Slater revealed: "I was blown away by Hayley with Bollywood on Ice.
"What I often forget is that all these routines are done in a week."
He added: "I get used to that just happening and I forget going back to when the execs commissioned the show, they were worried whether it would work with the time restrictions. But that routine was extraordinary.
"It was the sharpness. Bollywood on Ice. Superb."
This week the required element for the celebrity skaters will be performing with props.
Judge Karen Barber admitted that this was proving to be "a challenge" for the contestants.
She said: "There may be hats. There may be an umbrella. There may be a chair. There may be lots of broken props."
Those remaining in the competition are Hayley Tamaddon, Danniella Westbrook, Danny Young, Kieron Richardson and Gary Lucy.
