Celeb chums: Louis reckons Tom Cruise wants to see talent show.
X Factor judge Louis Walsh has claimed that Tom Cruise wants to attend one of the talent contest's live shows this year. The Irish music manager revealed that the actor asked for an audience ticket when they met at a recent party.
Speaking to the Evening Herald, Walsh said: "He actually came up to me and started talking to me about the X Factor.
"He knows Simon Cowell and has watched the show on the internet.
"He was quite intense and wanted to know all about how it works and what went on behind the scenes."
Walsh added: "Tom kept asking me if I would do the show in the States and if he could go to the show in the UK if he was in town. I told him that wouldn't be a problem.
"We don't have tickets or anything yet but I can't imagine it would be a problem getting Tom Cruise a ticket."
Filming for the new series of the X Factor is expected to begin in June with auditions to be held in front of a live audience.
The judging panel has not been finalised but Simon Cowell is expected to make his decision in April.
