Peter Andre has denied rumours that he is trying to "woo" X Factor judge Cheryl Cole, says a report. The Girls Aloud singer recently announced that she had decided to separate from footballer husband Ashley.
Peter has been single since his divorce from former glamour model Katie Price last October.
The Aussie singer wrote in his column for new! magazine that he had been amused by reports in the tabloid press which claimed that he has set his sights on dating Cheryl.
Pete said: "Apparently, I've been bombarding Cheryl Cole with supportive texts and sending her white roses in an attempt to woo her.
"It's the first I've heard of it! This story really made me laugh as it's totally made up."
However, Andre did confirm that he was full of admiration for the Geordie singer.
He said: "Cheryl is brilliant and I have sent her my support through my New column, but that's all."
He added: "I've been told lots of people want us to get together now we're both on the market but I'm sure I'm the last thing on her mind at the moment."
