'Dancing On Ice' contestant Hayley Tamaddon doesn't want sympathy over her injuries.

The former 'Emmerdale' actress - who scored a perfect 30 for her 'Slumdog Millionaire' routine on last Sunday's (07.03.10) show - admits her training has been hampered by her battered body but won't let producers exploit her situation in a bid to gain public sympathy.

Hayley - who partners with professional ice skater Daniel Whiston on the show - said: "I've strained both sides of my groin, have given myself whiplash by falling over and straining my neck, all the muscles from my ears to my back were in spasm.

"But I don't want sympathy. I don't want to sit and moan about injuries because it's boring. The public know we are injured, they know how difficult it is."

Hayley, 33, added she is determined nothing will get in the way to stop her from competing on the show.

She said: "I am on my bottom more than I am on my feet in this show. I fall over all the time, but it's part of the game and it's to be expected. Nothing will stop me from getting on the ice."

Hayley is one of five contestants left on the show, which enters its semi finals stage next Sunday (21.03.10).
