Cheryl Cole's brother Andrew has predicted that the X Factor judge will go on to conquer the US now she has ditched hubby Ashley, a report has claimed.
Andrew has claimed that the Chelsea and England footballer had been responsible for "holding back" Cheryl's career.
He told the Daily Mirror that he believes that Cheryl will now go on to win over the hearts of the American people.
Andrew said: "Ashley did not like her going to America and was trying to hold her back in her career.
"Now she's going to grab her chance with both hands and make the most of the opportunities.
"Selling up here and going to America could be a fresh start for her, which is just what she needs.
"She knows that if she does not do it now then she may not get another chance. She has never been more famous."
He added: "Cheryl knows she has a big chance to crack the American market with her album and she is going to make the most of it."
