X Factor judge Louis Walsh has revealed that he does not want to join the panel of the US version of programme. The music producer added that he has not been asked to appear but would have to turn down the role if he was, according to reports.
He told the Daily Mirror: "I've got enough on.
"Listen, I haven't even been asked, but I'm a manager first and foremost and I love doing that."
The Irish judge added that he was sure that The X Factor would be a huge hit in America.
He added: "I think The X Factor would be the biggest show on television anywhere.
"I think if Simon [Cowell]'s involved it will be. He wants to be the best, he wants to be the biggest, and he will be."
Simon has confirmed that he is to step down as a judge on American Idol to launch The X Factor in the States.
The X Factor will hit the US at the end of 2011.
