The X Factor 2010 judging panel will be confirmed in April, according to reports. Simon Cowell is due to make his final decision on the format for this year's series next month, with the auditions to begin in May.
Dannii Minogue told Digital Spy last month that she would not be able to take part in the audition stage due to her pregnancy. The Aussie singer is due to give birth to her and Kris Smith's first baby in July.
Talking about whether she would be judging the auditions, Dannii said: "If they're auditioning in the hospital in Australia, yes, but otherwise no!
"I will totally miss Cheryl and Louis and Simon, and not being there for the auditions, but I really need to be near my family in Australia at such an important time."
However, Minogue insisted that she is still keen to be part of the show in some capacity.
According to The Sun, a new judge may be brought in to replace Minogue permanently or they may have a number of guest judges to stand in for the Aussie star until she returns for the Judge's House stage and live shows.
Some names being suggested as a guest judge include Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Eminem, Mel B and Robbie Williams.
