Cheryl Cole is to meet up with her estranged husband Ashley, a report has claimed. The X Factor star reportedly "caved in" to his pleas to meet to try to save their marriage.
Insiders told a tabloid newspaper that the Chelsea footballer has been "begging" Cheryl for the meeting and it is believed that they could get together as early as next week.
A source told the Daily Mirror: "Ashley has been texting her non-stop and Cheryl has tentatively agreed to see him."
However, friends of the Girls Aloud star are said to be concerned that Ashley will "use his charms" to persuade Cheryl to give their marriage another chance.
The source added: "Cheryl's really in two minds about what to do but she believes it is right they should meet like adults to discuss what's happened.
"She can't keep ignoring him forever.
"Her friends are worried he could still win her back. Even though she's furious about the way he's behaved, no one's convinced she's totally over him.
"At the moment she's still quite hurt and confused."
