Adam Croasdell won't appear on 'Strictly Come Dancing' because he can't "shake his groove thing".
The 'EastEnders' hunk - better known for playing Dr. Al Jenkins on the BBC One show - has no plans to appear in the reality TV show because his dance moves would "insult" viewers.
He told BANG Showbiz: "Look, if I had the moves I would do it. But I wouldn't want to insult the nation by trying to shake my groove thing and not quite managing it."
Adam's nine-month-long stint as the womanising GP ended on Friday (05.02.10).
Although he has now left the BBC One soap, Adam is keen to avoid reality shows and hopes to work on a drama instead.
He explained: "Generally, I'm not too keen on reality TV. I prefer just to do drama or anything that is written well. Dramas or good films, that sort of stuff. I don't know though, if it was some sort of survival thing, or something like going on an adventure with Bear Grylls. I'd definitely do that kind of thing. But I find it so contrived all the reality stuff. 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here', and all that. It doesn't really float my boat.
"At the moment, there are a couple of nice things on the boil. We'll just have to wait and see. Nothing is very certain in this game until you sign on the dotted line."
When he finished filming 'EastEnders' late last year, Adam flew to Malawi with charity World Vision to promote their work and visit Jacob - a child he has been sponsoring for the past seven years.
