Howard Stern is considering joining the 'American Idol' judging panel.
The outspoken radio DJ has confirmed it "might be possible" for him to join the reality singing show as a replacement for Simon Cowell - provided executives at Fox network offer him enough money.
He said: "There's not a better job on the planet than judging that f*****g karaoke contest. It might be possible, we'll see. They'd have to pay me a ton of dough because I already make a ton of dough.
"$100 million to judge a karaoke contest? Yeah, I would do that show for $100 million.
"It would be the best thing that happened to me. What a cush job - $100 million for four months. Who wouldn't take that?"
Last month, music mogul Simon revealed he was leaving the programme to launch a US version of 'X Factor'.
Since then, there has been much speculation about who will fill his spot.
Although he's being rumoured for the role, Howard believes Simon's replacement will have a difficult challenge ahead.
He explained to listeners of his radio station Sirius XM: "If I do say so myself, I can't imagine anyone else but me replacing Simon. I mean, I don't know. How else are they going to make that show work? Who knows how to broadcast and who knows how to be interesting? And who's not afraid to speak their mind?"
