The Ashworth family is being written out of 'Hollyoaks'.
The Channel 4 soap's new producer Paul Marquess has reportedly decided not to renew the contracts of Sonny Flood, Suzanne Hall and Jim Millea - who play Josh Ashworth and his parents Suzanne and Neville - when their current agreements end.
However, actor Andrew Moss - who plays village lothario Rhys - has escaped the boot and will remain in the show for the foreseeable future.
An insider said: "Nobody is safe."
Rhys will be the only remaining member of the Ashworth clan left in the show after actress Emma Rigby (Hannah Ashworth) leaves later this week.
The family first set foot in the village in 2005 and have been embroiled in some of the soap's biggest storylines in recent years - including Hannah's ongoing battles with eating disorders and Rhys' incestuous relationship with his half-sister Beth.
Since Paul - nicknamed 'The Axeman' because of his constant cuts - joined the show, many of the stars have spoken out over concerns they will lose their jobs as he goes on a "mass cull".
A source said: "Paul is known for having the b***s to make serious changes to the cast if he thinks things need a good shake-up. Everyone is expecting a mass cull."
