Heather Mills’ took to the training rink with a new lease of life as  the judge’s comments from last week continued to ring in her ears.

Despite finding inding it difficult to master the required pairs spin and only hitting the move about 25% of the time, Heather was still determined to nail the required element on the night.

However, McCartney’s ex faced a setback after pulling a hamstring during rehearsals.

While receving physio, she said: “By hook or by crook we will get on the ice and do the best we can.”

Dressed in a spangly cat suit, the 42-year-old took to the ice with partner Matt Evers, dancing a programme containing an upside down pike, a tick-tock lift into a tuck and the pairs spin to Aretha Franklin classic Chain Of Fools.

Scoring 15 out of 30, Karen, who scored Heather the lowest mark of 2.5 said: “I took 0.5 off because it was just one rotation on the required element and I would have loved to have given a higher mark.

“But it’s a better week; you are more prepared. You were steadier on your feet…There was a lot more about it than there was last week.”

Jason reflected on the improvement: “Last week was so shaky and uncertain but this week I was quite impressed with the control that you actually displayed on the ice.

“I thought there was great connection between you and Matt because of that. You weren’t gripping on for dear life a lot of the time.”

He then offered Heather this advice: “In the lifts make sure you do lift up in the chin- extend the neck line. Other than that-not bad.”

Robin added of the performance: “Maybe what doesn’t come across at home is the speed and attack with which the two of you, not just Matt, use across this ice. Not bad at all. Well done.”

Finishing joint seventh above Dr Hilary who finished bottom of the leader board with 11.5, Heather found herself in the skate-off alongside Hollyoaks star Kieron Richardson and was voted out of the show by a majority vote from the judges.
