Katie Price has slammed reports which have claimed that her marriage to Alex Reid is on the rocks after just one week. The former glamour model has insisted that she is "very happily married".
The reality TV star wed Celebrity Big Brother winner Alex Reid at a private ceremony in Las Vegas last week but recent reports in some tabloid newspapers had claimed that the couple were already at loggerheads.
Katie told GMTV that the couple were still deeply in love and she insisted that rumours of a rift between them were "completely untrue".
She said: "I can't control what the media say or what the tabloids write.
"I wish I could control them because it would be a very different story.
"It would say that I'm happy, I am happily married, I can't wait to have children...completely different.
"Unfortunately me and Pete [Andre] didn't work out and things move on.
"I hope that he does as well."
