Coleen Nolan thinks that Heather Mill's departure from Dancing on Ice has come at the right time. Mills was voted off the show after joining Kieron Richardson in the skate-off on Sunday night's show.

The former model was struggling with her prosthetic leg and balance during training.

Mills lost her left leg in 1993 after she was hit by a police motorcyclist.

The Dancing on Ice Friday host told the Daily Mirror: "It was right for Heather to go.

"She did brilliantly, and was actually better than last week, although all that really means is I wasn't terrified the whole way through.

"She was obviously struggling more and more and it was only going to get harder for her with her disability."

She added: "I was surprised Kieron was in the bottom two, it was my favourite performance of his.

"He took control of the dance like the judges told him to, so his score from them should have been higher."
