This week Hollyoaks star Kieron Richardson is in charge and started the routine alone. So it was important for him to take lead as Christopher Dean explained the importance for Kieron this week: “He’s got to be dominate and lead this performance.”
Kieron seems to be his own worst critic and challenges himself to get better each week: “I would love my scores to move up at least one this week so I can see progress.”
Dancing to Paolo Nutini’s upbeat hit song Pencil Full of Lead, dressed in brightly striped costumes, the couple shone on the ice. However, was there performance one to match their ensembles?
A technical glitch at the start of the routine didn’t seem to faze the couple as they carried on like professionals.
Having previously been criticised for not taking charge enough, this week offered Kieron a change to shine.
Robin seemed pleased with Kieron’s routine, as he connected with the music and his performance came through.
Emma beamed: “You know what Kieron? You really, really make me smile. I know some of [the other judges] are looking at your technique but for me I just really enjoy your performance. I love that you’re skating independently which is great.”
However, Kieron landed in the skate off against Heather Mills, luckily for him four out of the five judges chose to save him for another week.
