Kieron Richardson has claimed that he is "spurred on" by negative comments from Dancing on Ice judge Jason Gardiner, according to a report.
The Hollyoaks actor suggested that the acid-tongued Aussie judge was the "Simon Cowell" of Dancing on Ice.
He told the Daily Mirror: "He's the panto villain and I'm Prince Charming.
"Every time he makes a negative comment it makes me want to come back and prove him wrong.
"He's the Simon Cowell of Dancing on Ice and he has a role to play."
Richardson confessed that he was hurt by comments Gardiner made about his physique.
He added: "There's nothing I can do about the way I'm built.
"I can go to the gym for weeks on end and only have the slightest bit of definition in my arms at the end of it."
He added: "I could eat 10 McDonald's every day and not put on weight."
