Popstar to Operastar Darius Campbell has admitted that the show has been his biggest challenge. The singer has previously taken part in Popstars and Pop Idol.
However, he admitted that opera was causing some vocal difficulties.
Speaking on This Morning, Darius said: "The whole process has been really cathartic and really extraordinary.
"After 15 years of being a pop singer and writing songs on a guitar, flipping up into to falsetto - you can not do that in opera.
"Then doing West End theatre like Guys and Dolls, Chicago and Gone With The Wind, which uses a totally different aspect to the voice."
He added: "You take those two different types of training and you have to unlearn them.
"It's the toughest thing I have ever had to do."
Presenter Holly Willoughby said that the Scots singer looked calm when he performed.
He laughed: "If you only knew the inner turmoil that was going on!"
Campbell is joined by Danny Jones, Marcella Detroit, Kym Marsh and Bernie Nolan as the remaining popstars on the show.
