With the final series of Big Brother arriving on our screens in the summer, the task of finding contestants is underway and as the auditions reach Glasgow, stv.tv was there to meet some of the housemate hopefuls.
The prospect of appearing in the famous house for the final series of Big Brother has resulted in a drove of people attending the Scottish auditions.
But it is not just the idea of being in the last ever show that is appealing. Many hopefuls also want to offer a fair representation of Scotland, with a general feeling that previous housemates north of the border have failed to live up to the task.
One auditionee, who has tried before to get into the house, plans to do just this: “I’ve tried before and got through to the final stages so hopefully this time I’ll get right through to big Brother.
“I’ve not got [a game plan], I’m just somebody who can represent Scotland decent instead of half the clowns that go in there.”
Another Scot waiting in the never-ending queue said he was eager to provide some normality in the BB house should he make it through the audition experience.
Asked what kind of people he would like to see on this year's series, he said: “Normal people.”
He added: “People that are not going to make a fool of themselves; somebody that is going to be real.”
