An action-packed online drama aimed at 16-25-year-olds is to be based in Glasgow it has been revealed.
Being Victor, which is being made by Shed Media Scotland, will consist of 20 five-minute episodes that will be screened on the internet.
Details of the script or theme are being kept firmly under wraps, but it’s believed that makers are hoping to make the online soap work along the lines of combining the interactivity of Bebo’s KateModern with the soap appeal of Hollyoaks.
Shot in the city, the programme – which is going to be targeted at a youth audience, to try to encourage them to engage in frank discussions about moral and social issues - is expected to give budding young actors a break in the business.
It’s also hoped that the series might make it onto television if a TV network agrees to screen it.
Scripts are being penned by Waterloo Road writers Laura Klimke and David McManus, so there’s sure to be no end of nail-biting drama to keep viewers interested!
