Simon Cowell has hinted that former American Idol judge Paula Abdul may join the panel on the planned US version of The X Factor.
The 50-year-old entertainment mogul has reportedly signed a £100million deal to bring The X Factor to the US in 2011 and he is said to be keen to secure Abdul for the show.
Paula worked alongside Simon on American Idol for eight seasons before leaving in a dispute over her salary for the show.
Cowell suggested that Abdul may be asked to join him on the panel of the US Factor.
Simon said: "I've gone on record, I adore Paula. Whatever happens, I will be working with her in some capacity because I miss her.
"You're just going to have to watch this space."
Cowell revealed that he is still considering the line-up of the panel but he has hinted that Cheryl Cole will be joining him on the US franchise of the hit TV show.
