JLS singer Marvin Humes has said that the X Factor 2008 runners-up are hoping that next year will be bigger than 2009. He revealed that the band wanted to have their biggest hit yet, according to reports.
The 24-year-old admitted that the boys want to top the success they had with 'Beat Again' and 'Everybody In Love'.
Both singles topped the UK singles chart this year and their self-titled debut album reached the top spot in the album charts.
Asked to name JLS's mission statement for 2010, Humes told The Daily Star: "I don't know if we have a statement but I think for me and the boys it's just about maintaining what we have now.
"Always exceed expectations and always make things bigger and better.
"Ideally we wanna have a bigger-selling single with our next release. That's always a goal."
Talking about life in the band, he added: "We get on really well. We are all like brothers - closer than brothers.
"Those three boys I know more than anyone else in my life."
The star recently said JLS were to write their new album while on tour in February.
