X Factor contestant Lloyd Daniels had admitted that he found it hard to understand Cheryl Cole's Geordie accent. The Welsh lad has confessed that he could not always follow her instructions, according to a report.
The 16-year-old added that this was his only problem with his mentor as he denied claims that she gave Joe McElderry more attention.
He told The Sun: "I didn't think she backed him more than she backed me.
"Joe was note perfect, every judge seemed to like Joe which they didn't with me, there's a lot of support for Joe."
He added: She's someone to look up to, I had the best mentor.
"I had a bit of trouble with the accent but that was it - it was hilarious,"
Since Lloyd left the programme on Sunday he has received lots of fan mail and love letters.
He revealed that he phoned three admirers back to thank them for their gifts.
Daniels said: "They didn't say much to be honest, they were just screaming down the phone."
