X Factor reject Lloyd Daniels has backed teammate Joe McElderry to go to win this year's crown. The Welsh youngster said that Joe has a "terrific" voice and would be a deserving winner of the TV talent show.
Lloyd told Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on This Morning that he did not think that Cheryl Cole had shown any favouritism to the Geordie singer.
He said: "I have been asked this question on a couple of occasions. Cheryl was fair and equal and we both used to spend a lot of time in her dressing room going over songs.
"Cheryl worked really, really hard with me."
Lloyd confessed that he thought that Joe was a really talented performer and said that he hoped that he would go on to win the show.
Daniels said: "Joe is an amazing guy and he has got an awesome voice.
"He is vocally amazing and is pitch-perfect all the time.
"I think that he deserves to win to be honest. We were doing it for team Cheryl and I hope that he goes on to win."
Lloyd added that he is "really looking forward" to appearing on the live X Factor tour in 2010.
He said: "I have a couple of gigs coming up and I can't wait to do those. Then it is The X Factor tour, it's going to be awesome."
