Zoe Lister admits she was very proud of the parachute jump episode in 'Hollyoaks'.
The actress - who plays Zoe Carpenter in the Chester-based soap - says watching the scene back, in which Sarah Barnes lost her life, confirmed to her how powerful it really was.
She said: "I loved it! I was so proud when I watched it back. It was so powerful. The whole sequence was amazing, with the music. It was such a long sequence and even though you knew what was going to happen, it was great to watch."
Zoe is accused of tampering with Sarah's parachute and charged with murder, even though it was Sarah's jealous girlfriend Lydia who cut the ropes.
So the journalism student was sent to prison and she is now going to get the chance to defend herself in court, but Zoe knows her alter-ego has been struggling behind bars.
She told website Digital Spy: "She's not been coping very well! It's all completely overwhelming for her. She can't get her head around the fact that her best friend's dead and the fact that she's being accused of murdering her is ridiculous. She's worried that because it's got this far its ludicrous, so who's to say that she won't be sent down?"
