Katie Price has renegotiated her I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! contract to allow her to return home to her children.
After quitting the show, the glamour model told hosts Ant and Dec that she was she missing the kids, Harvey, Junior and Princess Tiaamii, and that she couldn’t face taking on a seventh Bushtucker Trial.
But after leaving I’m A Celeb, she was snapped enjoying shopping sprees and sipping champagne with friend Michelle Heaton, and filming scenes believed to be for her new series of reality show What Katie Did Next.
The TV star claimed she was still in Australia because she was not allowed to return to England until her contract with the show ended on December 5.
But now it seems that Price has managed to wriggle her way out the contract, and will be making it back to the kids sooner than thought after all.
Writing on her Twitter page, Katie said: “At last I got out my contract I'm coming home to my children soooo excited.”
Katie’s ex-husband, singer and This Morning showbiz reporter, Peter Andre, is currently looking after the children. He was rumoured to have also been asked to take part in this year’s I’m A Celeb once again, a show on which he met Katie in 2004, but turned the offer down.
