I’m a Celebrity’s Lucy Benjamin is first to get booted out the jungle

Lucy Benjamin was the first of the I'm a Celebrity camp-mates  to be voted out of the jungle on Monday, in an eviction that was overshadowed by the shock departure of Katie Price.

The ex-EastEnders star was put up for eviction alongside Gino D’ Acampo and Sam Fox after failing to escape Camp Exile.

Lucy became the captain of the yellow team after drawing lots, however her team was beaten during the stick game, which resulted in a move to Camp Exile and the possibility of being put up for the public vote.

The exclusive interview with Katie Price meant Lucy only had a couple of minutes to chat with Ant and Dec about her time in the jungle saying she had “mixed emotions” about being the first to leave.

“It is not great to be the first one out however it is win, win because I get to see my bubba and I get to see Rick,” she said.

“It was all over a stick game, it was ridiculous!”

Lucy was overwhelmed by all the creepy crawlies and sleeping conditions they endured while living in Camp Exile.

“The first thing we encountered was a rat,” she said. Lucy joked as she reflected on how they cooked their furry 'friend' for dinner.

“We didn’t know if we were going to be starving hungry and we had to stock up on our supplies,” she explained

Lucy didn’t get the chance to do a Bushtucker trial during her stay in the jungle but told Ant and Dec how  much she loved the adrenalin-rush from the sky-dive down into the jungle, despite being initially terrified.

Katie Price threw in the towel after being voted by the public to do a seventh Bushtucker Trial.
