X Factor judge Cheryl Cole has slammed recent reports that her marriage to footballer Ashley Cole is "on the rocks", says a report. The 26-year-old has told friends that the couple "have never been happier".
Cheryl recently spoke out after reports in tabloid newspapers had hinted that her marriage to the Chelsea winger was in trouble.
She wrote on Twitter: "Everything is just fine, and I feel really, really content right now."
Cheryl and Ashley are said to have "grown closer" in recent weeks after the footballer sustained an injury.
A friend told the Daily Mirror: "Cheryl has been nursing her man better.
"The pair dote on each other. They are more in love than ever before.
"She loves it that Ashley is there to support her at X Factor and every step of the way with her solo career too.
"While he has been injured they have been spending loads of time together. They're as close as ever."
