Simon Cowell is said to have "turned on" his former favourite Danyl Johnson over his recent "tantrums" on The X Factor, a report has claimed. The music mogul is said to have "had enough" of the singer's "diva" behaviour.
Sources told a tabloid newspaper that the X Factor boss "hit the roof" after he heard gossip about Danyl's antics inside the shared house.
Cowell is said to have allegedly "read the riot act" to the 27-year-old and gave him a warning that he would not tolerate his tantrums.
An insider told the Daily Star: "Simon is well used to dealing with divas.
"But the point is enough is enough.
"There have been a few things going on in the house which Simon thinks are unacceptable.
"The diva tantrums don't set a very good example."
A recent report claimed that Cowell is now backing Dagenham lass Stacey Solomon to win this year's contest.
Simon confessed: "I like Stacey. She's a sweetheart.
"She's a nice girl with a good voice and she's getting better. She's going to be in the final. She's my favourite act after my own acts."
