X Factor judge Cheryl Cole has been showing off her wedding ring on Twitter. The singer is seen holding up her hand and flashing her £160,000 ring in a defiant move against rumours that her marriage is in trouble.
The picture shows her holding her hand in front of her face with the line "3 words. Diamonds Are Forever" written underneath.
The snap of the Girls Aloud singer was posted on the account of her management company Supersonic PR.
Cheryl began dating footballer Ashley Cole in 2004 and the couple married in 2006.
The couple almost separated in January 2008 after Ashley was the subject of several kiss-and-tell articles by women who said they had an affair with him.
Cheryl stopped wearing her wedding ring for a while but the pair decided to give their marriage another go.
The recent rumours surrounding their marriage surfaced after the 26-year-old singer was spotted without her wedding ring on two episodes of The X Factor.
Their were also reports that Ashley had left his wife at a party to celebrate her debut solo single reaching number one.
However, Cheryl denied that their were any problems explaining that she had removed her wedding band because it clashed with the outfits she was wearing.
It was claimed that Ashley had joined his wife for celebrations but had to have an early night as he had training the following day.
