A female fan of X Factor 2008 runners-up JLS risked possible suffocation in an attempt to meet her idols. The girl climbed inside a zipped holdall and had a pal leave it at the band's hotel.
However, a security guard spotted the bag moving minutes before it was loaded on to the bus, according to reports.
He opened the luggage to find the dazed young lady inside. She had been shut up in the bag for half an hour and was allegedly close to unconsciousness.
The girl's plan would not have succeeded anyway as the boys had already left the venue in their cars.
If the guard had not made the timely discovery she would have been loaded into the bus and then onwards to the airport.
A source told the Sun: "It's getting to the point where the fanaticism is dangerous. This girl was so meticulous she had brought along her own luggage to match the lads normally use.
"The girl, who was wearing a JLS T-shirt, was close to fainting when she was discovered.
"She was distraught but managed to slip away, pretending she needed the toilet."
