Corrie star Jane Danson had admitted that she had a schoolgirl crush on her husband Robert Beck.
The couple married in December 2005 and have two sons Harry and Sam
Danson plays Leanne Battersby on the Manchester soap while hubby Beck is best known for his role as Peter Harrison in Brookside.
The 31-year-old actress told Reveal magazine: "It's so embarrassing to admit, but my husband was my celebrity crush.
"He was in Brookside when I was at school, and I had a sticker of him on my pencil case."
She continued: "I thought he was gorgeous, even though he was ten years older than me.
"Years later, when we met for the first time, I was biting my tongue the whole time. I kept thinking, 'Don't mention the sticker!'.
"But there was no way I could keep it from him."
Beck has had a guest role in the Weatherfield drama playing one of Tony Gordon's henchmen.
