Jungle Joe’s first beef came when in contrast to the rat eating antics of celebs in Exile, Sabrina’s roast rooster wasn’t to his taste.
He also branded the singer ‘thick’ for thinking former Hollyoaks star, Stuart Manning would be OK if he moves to the USA next year and then upset Justin so much the Scot had to take a quiet, teary moment to compose himself in the Bush Telegraph before branding pot stirrer Joe ‘a thug.’
Joe forgot his table manners over dinner when he complained that by allowing Sabrina to help with the dish Justin had allowed too many cooks to spoil the dish and refused to eat it.
As tempers simmered Joe told Justin: “This will not be brought up ever again so all I’m saying is if you want peace in the family do the job that you volunteered to do because you’re good at it. Don’t pass it over half way through.”
The Scot batted back telling the ex-heavyweight boxer that he’d only been there a day and half “and you’re already upsetting people” before Sabrina chipped in by telling Joe that if he had a problem with her to say it to her face.
Justin’s partner Colin McAllister also weighed into the row labelling beefy Bugner a “busybody”, a “tiitle tattle’ and describing him as “a bit gossipy.” You don’t say.
In the Bush Telegraph Sabrina expressed her opinion of Joe commenting : “I don’t know if Joe is trying to ruffle feathers as obviously he’s older than a lot of us, so he’s seen a lot more. But I like positive energy around me. I don’t like to be negative.”
Joe however who is only 59 but comes across as if he’s the age of Methuselah himself and could quickly assume the mantle of show villain, defended himself in the Bush Telegraph.
He said: “I just want them to realise that when I say something it's not because I want to offend them all or be nasty to them. It’s because I want to protect them. I think I’m going to have a ball in the next few days because they’re either going to come around to my way or scratch my eyes out.”
Even fellow sportsman Jimmy White didn’t escape Joe’s wrath when he suggested sneaking food over to the celebs living in the other camp, the ex-boxer snapped: “If the food is mine I’ll fight for it, not physically of course, I’m talking about arm wrestling. If anybody wants to challenge me I don’t think there’s anybody there who can beat me except maybe Kim. Kim could beat me.”
