X Factor 2008 winner Alexandra Burke thrilled the audience at her first headline gig, according to reports. She was taking part in DJ Jo Whiley's charity 'Little Noise' sessions in London.
The crowd gave her a standing ovation as she was cheered on by her mother, the former Soul II Soul singer Melissa Bell.
Alexandra took the time during her acoustic set to thank her family and praise Simon Cowell and his company SyCo for helping her reach number one.
Alexandra was overcome when the audience sang along to `The Silence` - a track from her `Overcome' album, says the Daily Mirror.
Burke said: "I didn't think I was going to cry, but believe you me, to perform tonight makes me so happy!"
Recently Alexandra said that she would never become a diva.
She told The Metro: "I'm not a diva. It's not true. I'm only a girl that won a show and sold one song.
"If I want 30 puppies in a room, I'm not gonna get them. I can't demand anything. It's not in my nature."
She added of life in the spotlight: "It was mental, mixing with people I'd dreamed of mixing with. Then getting signed to Epic in America. That's nuts. It doesn't fit with my normal life."
