X Factor bosses have reportedly decided that this week will have a George Michael and Wham! theme. The creative director of the show Brian Friedman admitted that the theme has been changed several times.
Friedman revealed that Elton John, Soul, Motown and American hits had all been proposed for this Saturday's show.
X Factor bosses finally decided for the remaining acts to perform songs by either George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley from the 80s group Wham! or tracks from Michael's solo career.
It has been rumoured that John and Edward will sing either `Wham Rap' or `Wake Me Up Before You Go Go'.
A source told The Sun: "The theme has only just been decided which means less rehearsal time.
"Handily for the twins it wasn't Elton John week or they may have struggled."
The special guests lined-up for the results show this week have been confirmed as Susan Boyle and Mariah Carey.
It has also been claimed that George Michael may make a surprise appearance on the show on Saturday.
