Celebrities Gino D'Acampo and Sam Fox faced a tough opening challenge in I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here by being put through the first bushtucker challenge.
The pair had been chosen by their fellow celebrities to camp overnight on an island and take part in a challenge which would affect the whole group. Initially the group struggled to decide who should go, so the final decision came down to the shortest straw.
After spending the night together on the island, the pair were informed that they were responsible for winning beds and food for the celebrities' camp.
They faced the All Washed Up trial, which involved various creatures and creepy crawlies. They became very friendly with crabs, an octopus, water spiders and eels in order to win stars for the group.
After the trial, Sam had to be examined by a medic because she feared she had been bitten by blood-sucking tics. The examination concluded that she was free from the mites and was going to be fine.
I'm A Celebrity starts tonight at 9pm on STV.
