Cage fighter, Alex Reid, who has been dating Katie Price for four months is reportedly extremely concerned that his girlfriend will be unfaithful to him when she appears on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!
According to The News of the World Alex got so worked up that he asked if he could be a contestant on the show – and didn’t even want a fee.
A source told the newspaper that Katie was teasing Alex before she left: "Virtually Jordan's (Katie) last words to Alex were, 'I hope there's some eye candy in there.”
Katie Price famously fell for Peter Andre in series three of the hit show in 2004. At the time Katie was in a relationship with Scott Sullivan and this has apparently made Alex very anxious.
The newspaper reported: "He doesn't want to look like a fool."
Alex is reportedly particularly worried about the presence of actor Stuart Manning and this is what drove him to ask to be included in the show.
Alex has not been granted his wish and producers allegedly refused his requests completely. He will have to watch all the action from his sofa, like the rest of us.
