Dannii Minogue says 'John and Edward are good kids'

X Factor judge Dannii Minogue insisted that she does not hold a grudge against John and Edward after they were saved over her act Lucie Jones on Sunday. Lucie was knocked out of the competition after the judges reached deadlock.

The act with the lowest public votes was then out of this year's X Factor.

Speaking afterward, Minogue had a dig at the Irish brother's singing abilities, saying: "I just wish all the good singers luck in this singing competition."

Dannii told The Xtra Factor: "I guess the only way around it is to have Stacey [Solomon] rap next week and have a whole production number.

"If that's what gets you through, then we'll have everyone rap."

However, the singer later said she did not intend to insult the twins.

She told host Holly Willoughby: "We adore John & Edward. They're the nicest guys and it's not a personal thing at all, they're just divine.

"That's why they've got a lot of press this week, because everyone can see they're really good kids and they're working really hard."

Dannii now only has Stacey Solomon remaining in the competition.
