Amy Winehouse thinks Rachel Adedeji's X Factor exit was a "disaster"

Amy Winehouse has said that it was a "disaster" to get rid of Rachel Adedeji from the X Factor. Rachel joined Lloyd Daniels in the sing-off after the pair received the lowest number of public votes on Rock Week.

Amy's father Mitch told online channel Liv: "Amy and I and the family were watching X Factor and when Rachel got knocked out - we thought it was a complete disaster.

"We were having a lovely dinner - I was having a chicken vindaloo and Amy was having a chicken korma and we also choked - almost put us right off our food."

Mitch also had a go at Stacey Solomon saying her vocals were "not that great".

He said: "Stacey is not the new Amy. She's not as good."

Rachel's big sister Sandra Okunnu has told the Southend Echo that she was glad that her sister will not have to got through being in the bottom two again.

Sandra said: "She was upset at the beginning, but was happy to get as far as she did. I'm glad she's out.

"I didn't want to see her in the bottom two again, I didn't want the judges to save her."

She added: "I spoke to her on Monday and she was sad to leave the house, and say goodbye to the other contestants.

"She is really close to Joe and to the twins. They will definitely stay in touch."

OMG Amy has spoken some sense at last and of course she is right. It was criminal The twins are a disgrace to the term "singing" and the pretty Lloyd had no voice. Hopefully she will be more successful away from it all. I predict good things for Rachel.
